Getting Started with RenderHatch
Welcome to RenderHatch! This guide will walk you through the core features of the platform, helping you go from a simple idea to a stunning architectural visualization in just a few clicks.
Step 1: The Studio
The Studio is your creative hub. Here you'll find the tools to transform your concepts. We currently offer two primary workflows: "Sketch to Render" and "Image to Linework". You can switch between them using the tabs at the top of the page.
Step 2: Using "Sketch to Render"
This tool is perfect for visualizing a concept from a drawing or sketch.
- Upload Your Sketch: Drag and drop an image file (like a JPG, PNG, or GIF) into the upload area, or click to select a file from your computer.
- Choose a Rendering Style: Select from styles like Realistic, Sketch, Watercolor, or Cartoon to define the overall look of the output.
- Describe Your Vision: This step is optional but powerful. Write a description of your scene. Our AI will optimize your text to add details about lighting, materials, and atmosphere for a richer result.
- Generate: Hit the "Generate Render" button and watch the AI bring your sketch to life!

Step 3: Using "Image to Linework"
Have a photo of an existing building? This tool converts it into clean, professional architectural linework.
- Upload Your Photo: Just like before, upload a photograph of a building.
- Generate Linework: Click "Generate Linework". The AI will analyze the image and produce a black and white architectural drawing, ignoring distracting elements like trees, cars, or people.
- Create a DXF Vector File: Once the linework is generated, a new button will appear. Click "Create DXF Vector File" to convert the image into a downloadable DXF file, which you can use in any CAD software.
